Born in Brooklyn in 1978 to a teenage mother, he was raised in foster care, separated from his identical twin brother until they reunited in Albany before moving to Suffolk County in the early 1990s. These early experiences shaped his passion for bridging gaps, building connections, and fighting for those often overlooked.

For years, Raheem has served as a policy analyst, journalist, community advocate, and small business owner, dedicated to bringing transparency, accountability, and accessibility to government. His work includes:

✅ Policy Analyst, researching local issues and providing real solutions for Suffolk County residents.

✅ Political Journalist for The Messenger Papers, covering local government affairs and legislative decisions.

✅ Grand Lecturer for the Hiram National Grand Lodge, fostering leadership and mentorship.

✅ Advocate for Domestic Violence Survivors and Opioid Abuse Prevention, ensuring vulnerable individuals have a voice.
